Games Workshop Warhammer 40k: Space Marines - Primaris Intercessor Squad

A strong core of reliable and adaptable warriors that can lay down fire while advancing or holding down terrain is an invaluable aid to any tactician. In the case of strike forces bolstered by Primaris battle-brothers, this role is fulfilled by the Intercessor Squads. Capable of levelling overlapping salvoes of firepower, these squads often form the flexible fighting core of newly-founded Primaris Chapters – though, of course, many established Chapters have eagerly leveraged their abilities, fielding them alongside Tactical Squads.

Kit Features and Components

This multi-part plastic kit contains everything you need to assemble a set of 10 Primaris Intercessors. These warriors, clad in Mk X Tacticus armour, combine protection and mobility, making them both reliable and adaptable. Each is armed with bolt rifles, which can be built in one of three variants:

• Standard bolt rifle with a sickle magazine.
• Auto bolt rifle with overcharger and box magazine.
• Stalker bolt rifle with a longer-range sight and straight magazine.

Additional features include:

• 16 right-hand shoulder pads decorated with Intercessor iconography, including:
  • 2 with an open radio panel.
  • 2 gesturing for their squad to halt.
  • 2 holding combat knives.
  • 2 firing bolt pistols.
• 24 different heads, offering helmeted and bare options.

Assembly Options

The models can be built in various configurations:

• A 10-man squad.
• A squad of 9 Intercessors with a Sergeant.
• Two 5-man squads, each with their own Sergeant.

The Sergeants are distinguished by:

• Unique heads, with helmets mag-locked to their belts.
• Unique tilting plates for added distinction.

To reflect their adaptability, the kit includes a variety of extra details to enhance the models:

• 12 pistol holsters (2 empty for Intercessors wielding them).
• 10 ammunition and grenade pouches.
• 6 combat knife scabbards (4 empty).
• 4 single grenade pouches.
• 4 bolt pistol ammunition pouches.
